Cruisers Car Wash History
Best Wash in the City!

Cruiser

Cruisers was started in Wilmington, NC in 1998. The name comes from the owners' black Labrador Retriever named Cruiser. If you look at the center of our logo, you will see a likeness of her. Our philosophy from day one has been simple: "Greet every customer with a smile, provide consistent and professional service at a reasonable price, and treat each vehicle as if it were our own." This mantra has earned Cruisers "Best Wash in the City" votes from various publications.

Cruisers Car Wash is more than just a Wilmington car wash and detail shop. We offer our customers 4 package levels in addition to the basic car wash including Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Plus. We also offer Express Detail, Bronze Detail, and Full Detail packages as well as a la carte services. We maintain an active presence on Facebook and receive positive feedback from our Wilmington car wash and detail customers. Our self-serve carwash in Southport provides a quick service for when you're pressed for time and our Wilmington locations provide personalized care for your car that exceeds your expectations.

We enjoy giving back to the community through programs we are involved in, including Grace for Vets. Started in 2004, this program recognizes our nation's veterans by giving them a complimentary full car wash on Veteran's Day. Over the past two years alone, we have washed hundreds of vehicles for veterans. Nationwide, Grace for Vets' participating car washes donated 101, 537 car washes.

Grace For Vets
A way to thank our Veterans

Cruisers is a proud sponsor of Grace for Vets, a program started in 2004 that recognizes our nation's veterans by giving them a complimentary full service wash on Veteran's Day. We have washed hundreds of veteran's vehicles in the past two years.
Grace for Vets has grown from just a few participating car washes to several thousand in 4 countries. Mike Mountz, the program's founder, was inducted into the International Carwash Association's Hall of Fame. While a million thanks is not enough, we will keep doing our part to say Thank You to show our appreciation for the efforts made by all branches of the military to keep us safe.
